Lisa Skvortsova
Was born in Moscow in 1978. Graduated from an art school in Moscow and the All-Russian State Institute of Cinema (VGIK), Faculty of Fine Art, Department of Computer Graphic and Animation.While studying in the Institute, performed three academic works - The Rain (1998), 7-40 (1998) and You’ll Better Wait (2002).
2003-2009 – director of the big animation project "World Lullabies" which consists of sixty films, 2010-2011 – director of three films in animaton series “Lucky!”, 2012 – director of animated project ''Letter Stories'' (33 films about letters of Russian alphabet) Since 2009 delivers animation workshops for children in Russia and abroad.
The diploma film ''You’ll Better Wait'' and the "World Lullabies" series have won many awards all over the world. Some of them are: Golden Eagle National Award, National Press Award White Elephant, Grand Prix at “Window to Europe” Festival in Vyborg, 2nd Prize Best Shot (Animadrid 2006), Best Non-Fiction (Malescorto 2006). Films participated in Balkanima, Dok-Lepzig, Annecy, Arcipelago, Krakow IFF, etc.
